2020 Juno Award Nominee
The last 12 months for 16 year old Nanaimo singer Lauren Spence-Smith have been a whirlwind of fame and good fortune, culminated by being recognized as one of Canada’s best up and coming performers. She was nominated along side Bryan Adams and three other Canadian artists for 'Adult Contemporary Album of the Year' at the 2020 Juno Awards. Spencer-Smith nomination was for her live acoustic album, ‘Unplugged’ which was recorded during a concert at Nanaimo’s Port Theatre in July 2019. “We just took all the cover songs I sang and put them on an album,” Spencer-Smith said. “Most artists who get nominated is through original music. I didn’t have high expectations and it just came out of the blue.”
Franklin, 27 years old, is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Durham, NC endeavors to bring life to others through the gift of music. Kimmy Gabriela is 17 year old and of mixed ethnicity from Lakeland, Florida. She is half Dominican and half Venezuelan. She began singing at the age of five years. She would sing at church and even at school, with her father as her mentor on her musical journey. She has been doing songs covers and posting them on her Instagram account. Kimmy also played the lead in several musicals at the school, including Lin Manuel-Miranda’s “Into The Heights.” She also wrote a song entitled, “Before You Go,” for her best friend which shared on Instagram in November 2019.
This 24 year old is a actor and singer hails from Miami landed the role of Daniel Miller on the Nickelodeon original series 'Every Witch Way'. Nick Merico has been performing as a vocalist since the age of 11 and he posts cover songs to his popular self-titled YouTube channel. He writes his own music and also plays both the piano and guitar.
In a very short period of time others began to take notice of Nick and he has since appeared on several TV networks such as ABC on Charlie’s Angels, Univision, AmericaTeVe, NBC and has been featured in national commercials and magazines. Nick has won quite a few singing competitions with one where he received the largest number of votes in the history of the televised singing show.
Cyniah Elise (18 years old) is a Atlanta, Georgia native. She has been singing since the age of two years old in local church along with her mother who worked in the choir. Later after a year, she started taking interest in musical instruments and learned to play piano. Her life completely took over from a viral video which gained her huge attention and fan following overnight. Actually, it was a night of thanksgiving in her family and one of her cousin recorded her singing “Change Me” by Tamela Mann. Later it was posted on Facebook it garnered more than 4 million views and she was like a superstar overnight.

Makayla Phillips is 17 year old wonderful, talented, spunky, motivated and driven young artist. She strives for perfection in her crafts. Singing, dancing, acting are just some of the talents she possesses. Makayla has performed in numerous plays, winning the lead roles in the majority of them. She has performed in Aladdin, as Jasmine, Wizard of Oz as the Witch, Bottle of Joy, Alice in Wonderland, just to name a few. Makayla has recorded music for Mainstream Source, for iTunes.
