Direct from Argentina the international tango star Germán Cornejo is back with his new company Immortal Tango after its world premiere of their first dance spectacular Immortal Tango in London's Westend. The show features Cornejo’s outstanding cast of world-class tango superstars, including his long time dance partner Gisela Galeassi, bringing alive the glamour of vintage Hollywood mixed with the elegant costumes, magical atmosphere andintoxicating dance moves of Argentina.

The 14 smouldering dancers, including five World Tango Champions, bring back the most sensual dance of all times, accompanied by a live band playing the sultry, sensual rhythms of Buenos Aires, with the smooth, soulful vocal of renowned Argentine singer Antonela Cirillo.

 

The music covers some of the most revered tango composers, such as Matos Rodriguez, Piazzolla, interspersed with Hollywood blockbusters popularised by the likes of Celine Dion, Madonna and Adele. Artistic director and choreographer Germán Cornejo is widely acclaimed by critics and audiences all over the world as one of the leading tango artists working today.

 

Cornejo and his dance partner Gisela Galeassi are both World Tango Champions and are widely known for their performances with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as part of Q'Viva! (Mandaly Bay, Las Vegas) and winning finalists on the hit Fox TV series of the same name. They were JLo's special guest artists at her first ever concert in Buenos Aires at GEBA Arena.
