Once of Canada’s finest Frank Sinatra Tribute artists, Joey Didodo has been performing all over North America. Born March 17, 1957, of Italian parents, Joey, the youngest of four children, launched his singing career at age 12, far for the course when your father, also a singer, was known as "The Great Mr. B", your mother was a pianist, and your grandfather was Nino Franco, a famous opera singer.
Joey's official debut came at age 16 in a restaurant where he performed for a year and a half. A three-year tour of Canada followed. Eventually, he traveled to Florida where he worked with numerous artists and musicians over a period of five years. With over 25 years of experience under his belt, Joey assembled a new trio in 1996 with musicians Dan Martell and Michel Velardo. The new group, called HAT TRICK, has been performing for seven years.
Tina Sinatra (daughter of Frank Sinatra) was in the audience at one of Joey’s performance. After he sang a few bars of “Fly Me To The Moon”, Mrs. Sinatra gave a big thumbs-up and her blessing for him to perform many of the songs her father had made famous.
Joey auditioned for and won the lead role in the musical revue SINATRA REMEMBERED which ran at the Montreal Casino and Hull Casino in 2001. Now under the management of Richard Robert along with Vegas Productions, new projects are being developed for Joey and already, successful career is sure to flourish for years to come!
