Tambores en Concierto is the mother of all cabaret shows based in Havana, Cuba. As it's sometimes called "Villa Mina" is acclaimed throughout the world as the oldest and largest Afro Cuban cabaret that first opened its doors on New Years Eve 1939.
One of the most lavish nightclub spectacles in the world, the show is set in the open air of a rain forest in Havana and has been seen by over 2.5 million foriegn tourists. The cast of 120 performers consists of the best dancers, musicians and choreographers that Cuba has to offer.
The venue has played host to such renowned stars as Nat King Cole, Josephine Baker, Celia Cruz, Carmen Miranda, Liberace, Omara Portuondo (Buena Vista Social Club), Marlene Dietrich and others. Many nights the audience was just as famous. Marlon Brando, Sammy Davis, Jr., Greta Garbo and other Hollywood stars came to the venue and take in the shows over the year, making it the ideal place to see and be seen.
