Cindy Guerrero is a talented and emotive singer/songwriter whose music is the product of a lifetime of musical influence rooted in Latin and R&B. Live performances that truly connect with audiences is Cindy’s forte, the result of extensive stage work in venues around the world. Born in Montreal, then spending her early childhood in Venezuela before returning to Montreal, Cindy was fluent in English, French and Spanish with exposure to a variety of musical genres as she began her career as a performing artist.
Cindy first played in local venues before expanding her horizons entertaining audiences around the world, including at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal where she sang the Canadian national anthem during an Expos major league game. She was one of the principal vocalists in the production of a musical show, A Night At The Apollo, at Montreal's Place des Arts theatre. Cindy has also performed at the Gato Tuerto Club in Havana and at the Continental Cabaret in Varadero, Cuba. In addition, Cindy has captivated audiences with moving performances and soulful vocals in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Bejing, China and throughout the Carribean.
Cindy recorded and performed in three languages in a broad range of musical styles as she expanded her repertoire and established her musical identity. Fuelled by her passion for the stage, Cindy has continuously evolved as an artist.
As part of that evolution, Cindy began creating her own music and collaborating with songwriting partners. It was here that the undeniable fusion of Latin and R&B manifested itself in Cindy's smooth vocals anchored in rhythmic undercurrents. Her lyrics are heartfelt and resonate with listeners while her music is created remaining mindful of being played Live.
Cindy continues to perform while songwriting and recording her own music. Upon releasing her debut album, Cindy Guerrero will focus on performing and promoting her original material.
