Jordin Sparks made history as the youngest-ever winner of American Idol in 2007, launching a groundbreaking career. Her platinum debut album featured the smash hits Tattoo and No Air (with Chris Brown), the latter earning a Grammy nomination and becoming one of the best-selling singles by an Idol alum. Her follow-up album, Battlefield, cemented her success, making her the first Idol contestant to score five consecutive Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
Sparks showcased her versatility on Broadway in the hit musical "In The Heights" (2010) and starred in the movie "Sparkle" (2012) alongside Whitney Houston in Whitney's final film.
